Caregivers are employees of Home Care by Design. HCBD coordinates, schedules, and oversees the services provided. While we strive to match Clients with compatible caregivers, availability and scheduling may vary.
3.3 What HCBD Does Not Do
- We do not provide medical or skilled nursing services
- We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe
- Services are non-medical in nature
3.4 Service Area
Home Care by Design currently provides services throughout the following North Carolina counties:
- Iredell County
- Mecklenburg County
- Gaston County
- Lincoln County
- Union County
4. User Responsibilities
4.1 Clients
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information regarding care needs
- Maintain a safe environment for caregivers
- Communicate schedule changes in a timely manner
- Participate in care planning as needed
4.2 Accuracy of Information
Users agree to provide true and up-to-date information. HCBD is not responsible for issues resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information.
5. Screening & Hiring
HCBD conducts screening and hiring of caregivers, which may include:
- Background checks
- Employment verification
- Reference checks
- Credential verification (if applicable)
While HCBD takes reasonable steps to ensure caregiver qualifications, no guarantee is made regarding outcomes of care.
6. Eligibility
By using the Services, you represent that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You reside in the United States
- You are seeking or coordinating non-medical home care services
7. Accounts & User Content
- Users are responsible for protecting login credentials
- You may not share accounts
- You are responsible for any content submitted
8. Acceptable Use
You may not:
- Post false, harmful, or misleading content
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems
9. Intellectual Property
